These are kinda prototypes, and I'm still deciding whether I will make more - what do you think of them? Earthenware dipped in stoneware slip, two piece construction. Interior of top finished with white glaze to allow light to bounce. Made in Marlborough, New Zealand.

Item# 158: SOLD
I call this one 'the Dalek'. 19cm high, if this item was your sibling, it would be the short fat one. However, what it lacks in appearance, its top makes up for in stability.
This one composed itself a little better, standing 20cm tall it also has a stable 'top'.
Full disclosure - This item has a top which I wouldn't consider entirely stable - like, if you want to have this on your coffee table, but you have kids running past, a dog wagging its tail and gestural arm movements while holding a glass of wine, this is not the item for you. 20cm.
I would give this item the same stability rating as its immediate predecessor - BUT - I reckon it's the cutest and best looking, standing at 19cm tall.
Every piece of pottery I make is unique in its own little way - a bit like you and me! Some of my work has a family and may look similar to others, but no two are identical. Slight variations in size and glaze finish can be expected. Hand made or wheel thrown, trimmed, dried, decorated, glazed and then photographed - when you purchase one of my works, you will receive the item in the picture.
